Getting your fitness groove back after a break
Welcome back to the studio Chisel N Stride fam. If you have not worked out for a couple of weeks in part due to the Eid holidays and in part because of the recent Dubai flooding, do not worry as that is currently most of our fit fam at the studio. Here are some simple strategies to help you return to your 2024 fitness journey that fitness journey:
1. Start Slow, Finish Strong: Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day! Ease back into your workouts gently to avoid burnout or injury. Start with all level classes and aim to take 1 mobility, 1 strength and 1 cardio focused class for the first few weeks.
2. Set Realistic Goals: Don't expect to pick up right where you left off. Set achievable fitness goals that take into account your current fitness level. Whether it's increasing your daily step count or exercising more frequently, celebrate those small victories along the way!
3. Mix It Up: Variety is the spice of life – and your workout routine! Keep things fresh and exciting by trying out different classes or activities. We have a variety of classes at Chisel N Stride so take the opportunity to mix up your classes.
4. Listen to Your Body: Your body is a temple, so treat it with the respect it deserves. Pay attention to how you feel during and after your workouts. If something doesn't feel right, don't be afraid to dial it back or switch things up.
5. Stay Consistent: Consistency is key when it comes to making progress. Schedule your workouts like important meetings – non-negotiable and built into your daily routine. Before you know it, you'll be back in the groove and feeling stronger than ever!
So there you have it – your roadmap to reclaiming your fitness mojo and strutting your stuff like the fitness rockstar you are. Remember, the journey back to fitness is all about progress, not perfection. So lace up those sneakers, grab your water bottle, and let's crush those goals together at Chisel N Stride!
